Inspired.

    Commuting back and forth to the city, I see a lot of diverse people and places. Fashion is certainly all around me, from the train to the city streets. Sitting on the train home from work, I was doing the usual, listening to music and completing assignments. I saw cheetah print hanging from the side of the seat in front of me and immediately knew what type of skirt it was. In that instant I decided I needed it in my wardrobe, knowing exactly how I wanted to style it. I envisioned this skirt with a black tee shirt knotted in the front and black sandals. After just a few seconds I found the skirt online, my first stop off the train was of course American Eagle where I found the skirt (AND ON SALE!). Inspiration is always around!

Dont forget to pack the sunscreen!

Sunscreen is my #1 summer essential and it should be yours too! Skincare is something I’m very passionate about because we will be in our skin for our entire lives so we should be taking great care of it! Favorites from Something Navy’s June Collection!

As mentioned in my first blog I’ve been following Something Navy for a long time now and I’m so excited to share my favorite pieces from her June collection that was just released. To give you guys some background, Something Navy is a fashion blogger but also shares lifestyle and beauty products. This simple slip dress can be worn both casual and dressy. For a casual look I would pair it with the hat linked above and a pair of flat sandals. To make it dressy throw on a pair of heels and pair with a simple clutch, perfect for dinner.

Two-piece outfits always remind of when I first fell in love with clothes. In middle school I was a die hard fan of the store Justice, If you are in your early twenties I’m sure you know what store I’m talking about. I used to wear their matching jumpsuits and bermuda shorts with the matching tank like it was my job.
